Reach is an AI receptionist and business phone for small businesses. It answers in your business's name, answers questions from the services, hours and FAQs you wrote, takes messages, and puts urgent callers through to your cell.
Sign-up is open. Set up your assistant and test it on practice calls in the dashboard. To have your real phone number answered, ask for early access.
One receptionist that knows your business, and an honest "I don't know" for everything else.
Greets callers as your virtual receptionist and answers from your services, hours, policies and FAQs. If it doesn't know, it says so and offers to take a message. It does not make up prices or promises.
Names, numbers and what the caller needs are saved as a message or lead, and the call is summarized so you can read it in seconds.
Callers who ask for a person, or have an emergency during business hours, are put through with a short announcement. If you don't answer, Reach takes a message instead of dropping the call.
Choose what happens after hours: take a message, put emergencies through to you, read your emergency instructions, or answer as usual. Business hours, holidays and time zones are respected.
Edit your business details, services and FAQs in plain language, and test any change on a practice call before a customer hears it.
Call history with full transcripts, AI summaries, outcomes, and simple analytics on call volume, busy hours and what people ask about.
Start with the receptionist. Turn on the rest when you need it.
Send sales, billing or service calls to the right people, offer open appointment times while the caller is still on the line, and text reminders so fewer people forget.
See who is worth calling first, with the reasons behind each score. Set up polite follow-up texts for new leads, cancellations and no-shows, and send a payment link when someone is ready to pay.
On Pro Max, run a calling campaign for past customers or callback requests. Reach confirms consent, stays inside calling hours, skips your do-not-call list and honors "stop calling me" on the spot.
Group people into queues by skill, see calls as they happen, coach the assistant mid-call or take over, and plan shifts against the hours your callers actually ring.
Reach is in early access. "Available" means built and tested. "Early access" means built and tested with simulated phone, payment or CRM services, but not yet run against the real ones. "Roadmap" means not built.
| Capability | Status | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Answers from your business knowledge | Available | Services, hours, policies and FAQs per business; says it doesn't know instead of guessing. |
| Messages and lead capture | Available | Saved with caller details and shown in your dashboard. |
| Transfer to your cell with failover | Available | Announces the caller to you; takes a message if you don't answer. |
| After-hours handling and holidays | Available | Per-business behavior and time zone. |
| Call history, transcripts and AI summaries | Available | Every call, searchable, with the outcome. |
| Practice calls in the dashboard | Available | Try the receptionist by text or voice before going live. |
| Departments, routing rules and phone menu | Available | Send callers to the right team by topic, caller or time of day, with a list of people to try in order or all at once. |
| Team invites and roles | Available | Owner, admin and member roles, limited by your plan's seats. Invite links are copied and shared by hand; Reach does not send email yet. |
| Appointment booking and reminders | Available | Offers open times inside your hours, books them without double-booking, and texts reminders. Appointments reach your calendar app as a subscribable feed, not a two-way sync. |
| Two-way texting | Available | Reply from the dashboard. STOP, START and HELP are handled, and people who opt out are never texted again. |
| Lead scoring and pipeline | Available | A simple score from what the caller said, with the reasons listed, and stages from new to won or lost. |
| Follow-up texts | Available | After a new lead, a cancellation or a no-show. Text only, 8 AM to 9 PM, with an opt-out line, and they stop when the person replies, books or opts out. |
| Queues, agents and skills routing | Available | Agents answer on their own phones. Reach rings whoever is available and has the skills a queue asks for. |
| Staffing: shifts, forecast and adherence | Available | Schedule shifts, see how many people your own call history says you need each hour, and check whether people were available when scheduled. |
| Plans and usage tracking | Available | AI minutes, call minutes and texts are counted per plan. Collecting payment for your Reach subscription is not connected yet. |
| Outbound calls to people who agreed to hear from you | Early access | Needs your confirmation of consent, calls only 8 AM to 9 PM, checks a do-not-call list, says it is an automated assistant, and hangs up on voicemail. Tested with a simulated phone provider; not yet run against live carriers. |
| CRM webhooks | Early access | Signed webhooks to any URL with retries, and HubSpot. Not yet tested against a live HubSpot account. |
| Payment links | Early access | You create the link and set the amount; the assistant never does. Needs a Stripe account connected to your deployment. Link creation has not been tested with live Stripe. |
| Live calls: transcript, coaching notes and take over | Early access | Read calls as they happen, send the assistant a note, or take the call yourself. Taking over a call has not been run against a live phone line yet. |
| Streaming, lower-latency voice | Roadmap | Today's calls use speech recognition and text-to-speech turn by turn. |
| Call recording | Roadmap | Settings exist; recording capture is not built yet. |
| Listening in, whispering and barging on live audio | Roadmap | Needs transfers to run through a conference. Today you read the transcript rather than hear the call. |
| Two-way Google or Microsoft calendar sync | Roadmap | Appointments are offered as a calendar feed. |
| Email invites and follow-ups | Roadmap | Reach texts today; email sending is planned. |
| A phone built into the browser for agents | Roadmap | Agents use their own phones. |
